OPENING COCKTAIL

An Opening Cocktail will be served at the end of the first day of the conference on September 7, 2016. All participants are welcomed to the opening cocktail where participants from different countries gather to discuss the happenings of the first day.

SIGHTSEEING

Almaty is the largest city in Kazakhstan. One of the main attractions is Shymbulak, a ski resort near Almaty located in the upper part of the Medeu Valley. It is popular for its mild climate, large number of sunny days, and great amount of snow through the winter. Shymbulak was a venue for the Alpine Skiing events.
